It is, according to GQ Magazine, the only watch a man ever needs to own, saying it’s a wiser investment than a pension, with a low-key non-nonsense attitude that is “discreet and enduringly stylish as a navy blazer or a black dinner jacket”. You’ll buy it, wear it for over 50 years, then pass it on to your children. As a “serious” watch, it succeeds on all levels.
